Dearest Schechter Families -

We hope you all had a lovely Hanukkah and wish you a very Happy New Year! As we approach the end of January, there are many fantastic programs and volunteer opportunities coming up at our schools. Remember that these programs are possible because of the support we receive from parents who join the PA by providing $60 membership dues and $40 class fees for all children in Gan, First, Second, Third and Fourth Grades. Thank you to those who have already joined. If you haven't yet done so, please join today by sending your payment in an envelope marked SSDSPA in your child's folder (checks payable to SSDSPA)!

SIGN-UP GENIUS FOR EVENTS

This year, the Parents Association will be sending emails to ask for event volunteers using an online software tool called "Sign Up Genius."  Sign Up Genius is essentially an online sign-up sheet that allows us to easily manage volunteer shifts and sign-ups. Mastaneh Pedram is our volunteer coordinator and you will continue to receive emails from her throughout the year.  Please review these emails as you receive them and sign up to volunteer!

HELP NEEDED

As the calendar of events reflects, the PA has several upcoming events in February and March.  We could use volunteers to assist with preparing for the Tu B'Shvat Seders, Mitzvah Madness, Shalach Manot packing and distribution, and the Purim festivities taking place at the lower and upper school campuses.  Please let us know if you can volunteer!  Send us an email anytime to [email protected].
