Thank You for Your  Gifts of Hope
You're a star for helping Paradise Valley United Methodist Church deliver hope this Christmas. Thank you to everyone who donated to our Christmas Missions Offering to benefit UMOM, the Wesley Community Center and the PVUMC Emergency Fund. There's still time to donate, if you haven't already. Thank you for your gifts. Have a blessed New Year.
Pastor's Message

Dear Friends in Faith,

As 2017 approaches I find myself with mixed feelings about this time. How did the last year move so quickly? What can God do in our world this coming year? What does God want of me (and each of us)?

Maybe you’re wondering if change is possible for you and our world in this year to come. Maybe you’re wondering what you can hold on to that will help you deal with the changes around you. I know some of us try hard to make some new year’s resolutions that will bring positive change...

New Year's Day - Family Sunday
Two Services at 9:30 and 11:15 am
9:30 am:   Traditional/Blended Worship
in the Sanctuary (no children's classes)
11:15 am:  Ignite Contemporary Worship
in the Chapel (children's corner)

Celebrate 2017 with us as we begin a new worship series, have communion and a renew our covenant with God.

Worship with PVUMC
Paradise Valley United Methodist Church (PVUMC) wishes you a Happy New Year. The church office and campus will be closed in observation of the New Year's holiday on Monday, January 2, 2017, but we invite you to join us on January 1, 2017 for our Family Sunday worship.

Worship as a family in lieu of classes; pick up Praise Paks for your elementary age children as you come through the doors. Childcare is available in G1.

Please note that we will NOT have an 8 am worship service that day, but invite you to join us at 9:30 am in the sancutary or 11:15 am (Ignite in the chapel).

New Year's Day (two services)

11:15 am Ignite (no bulletin)

The Perfect Prayer
As a new year begins, we invite you to look at an old prayer in a new way. New Year's Day, we begin a new worship series called "The Perfect Prayer," based on The Lord's Prayer. The five-week series seeks to help us learn to pray and build a deeper prayer life using the prayer Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:5-13.

Meet the Magi (3 Kings) January 8
The Magi, Three Kings or Wise Men are traveling to see Jesus, led by the star in the East. Come to PVUMC on Sunday, January 8, 2017 to hear their tale of wonder and joy when they meet Jesus, the newborn king. They'll have gifts for all the children at 9:30 am Sunday School.
