HALL OF HONORS NOMINATIONS
BEING SOUGHT

We are now accepting nominations for our Hall of Honors. Induction into this society is the highest recognition our school can bestow on a member of our school family and will take place at our annual dinner dance scheduled for Friday, April 21, at the Naperville Country Club.

Nominations may be made in any of the following categories:

Alumni  -graduates must be at least forty years of age.  We
are seeking alumni whose career accomplishments
or volunteerism in their community or parish  reflect well on their alma mater.

Clergy and/or Faculty  - any former priests, faculty, or support  staff who made an everlasting  impact to our school or the students   and parents we serve is eligible for   this award.  Only candidates who are no longer active in either  ministry at our parish or parish  school are eligible. *

School families - our school's successful reputation is built    in large part on the generous spirit of    volunteerism exhibited by school families   who serve on one of our four Leadership    Boards (School Board, Advancement Board,   Athletic Association, and Home & School).   We also have families each year devote   extraordinary amounts of time in chairing    fundraising events, coaching, and helping  out as needed throughout the school.

Families whose children are still enrolled   in our school are not eligible. *

*An exception can be made for a candidate who is in their final year at the school or has health concerns.

Last year's recipient was Mike Chiarito, who had served our school as athletic director for 25 years prior to his retirement.  For a complete listing of previous Hall of Honors inductees please click here .

SSPP Trivia

When our school was founded in 1853....

....no one fretted about the Bears missing the playoffs because the NFL wasn't even founded until 1920 and the NFL's first  playoff game wasn't played until1932 when the Bears played the Portsmouth Spartans in the old Chicago Stadium for the championship.
