News from Faith In Action
This month, we will be inviting you to share new or gently used goods with the refugee community through the local organization known as Ascentria. We will have details about the type of items they need to help the newest residents to New Hampshire set up their households. All donations should be in good condition, worthy of sharing with your friends or family. Watch the bulletin board for updates.

Save the Date
In our quest for Deeper Water/ Deeper Conversations, South Church will be hosting two training events focusing on compassionate listening.  Helen Fitzgerald and Nancy Brown will do an introductory training on February 11, 2017 followed by a deeper look into compassionate listening on March 11, 2017 from Andrea Cohen Kiener and Yael Petretti, trainers with the Compassionate Listening project.  Please put these dates on your calendar.  Tentative times are set for 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on both dates.  More information will be coming your way in the next month.

A big thanks to all who made the 2016 South Church Auction a great success. To those of you who donated so many wonderful items. To all who volunteered to setup, organize and work at the auction. To the many food volunteers who made all those goodies. To Hank and Charles for their fine music. To everyone who came out to bid. It was a fun evening of fellowship and fundraising. We are pleased to announce that the church raised close to $8,600 from the auction. All of you made that possible.
