ABLE accounts allow people with disabilities* and their families to save for future expenses without losing their state and federal benefits
*Broad definition of disabilities (physical, developmental, mental, military-induced, etc.)

The Stephen Beck Jr., Achieving a Better Life Experience Act of 2014 (ABLE Act) established the creation of ABLE accounts for people with disabilities.  The Washington ABLE Program provides tax-advantaged savings accounts for individuals and their families to save for qualified disability expenses without losing federal and state benefits.

SENSORY FRIENDLY PERFORMANCE

THE NUTCRACKER SUITE  is a performance produced by
Mid-Columbia Ballet designed for children with special needs and their entire families. Selected scenes from the beloved holiday tradition, The Nutcracker, will be performed with the music a little lower, the lights a little higher, and with a welcoming atmosphere that allows children to enjoy the performance in their own way. Unique features of this event include a Quiet Area in the lobby for children who need a sensory break and a Social Story provided to all families one week prior to the performance. Please contact our staff if you have any questions or concerns prior to the performance by emailing reneeadams@midcolumbiaballet.org or calling 509-946-5417.
