CRGC Launch of the CCR Inquiry System
Effective March 1, 2017, the Cancer Registry of Greater California (CRGC) transitioned to a new mechanism in which abstracting and coding questions are submitted, tracked and responses provided. Abstracting and coding questions will only be processed using the CCR Inquiry System; emails and phone calls regarding abstracting and coding questions will no longer be accepted.
The California Cancer Registry (CCR) Inquiry System has been modified to accommodate abstracting and coding questions received by regional registries. With the implementation of this new system, all abstractors who have registered for a login and password will be able to search the database for questions and answers. In addition, a designated person must be assigned to submit abstracting or coding questions on behalf of each reporting facility. If your facility has not designated an individual to serve in this capacity, please contact Dee LeTendre (for registrars in Regions 2,3, 4, 6 and 7/10) or Crickett Dyke (for registrars in Region 5) to obtain the required form to designate the individual along with their contact information. If no designee is appointed, staff from your facility will not be able to submit abstracting and coding questions.
Note: All users must register to access the CCR Inquiry System, even those designated to submit questions
.
