Feb. 5-12 at Holy Comforter
Hosting 25 adult, overnight guests for the week is going to need many volunteers providing warm smiles, helping hands, and listening ears. Volunteers perform other critical tasks in a variety of shifts, including greeters, food prep and clean-up, evening activities hosts, and overnight caretakers. We encourage fellowship groups and/or individuals to volunteer in providing off-site prepared meals for breakfast and dinner each day. Sign up at TimeToSignUp or use the signup sheets in the Narthex. In late February/early March each registered young adult (18-24) living away from home (i.e., at college or in the military) will receive a gift box of "Holy Comfort" at his/her away-from-home address. Bring your young adult's address with you to church and fill out a form to complete the process. Or download a Registration Form to complete in advance. Return the form to the Holy Comfort Box table in the Narthex, or email the information to Joni Langevoort. Questions? Contact Joni Langevoort.

Please join us for coffee and fellowship on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. Join us as we discuss how we can build community and support among fellow Holy Comforter mothers. Childcare will be available. Interested in joining us? Contact Virginia Harris so that we can plan appropriately for materials and childcare. Of course, last minute attendees are always welcome!

Enjoy fellowship and good food in small groups. FOYERS meets once a month (at a time scheduled within each group) to share a meal and friendship. It's a great way to get to know people. If you want to participate in the spring round and are not participating in the current round, sign up on Jan. 29, Feb. 5 or 12, or email Shelia Creswell or call 703-255-3258. If you are in the current fall, 2016/2017 FOYERS rotation, you will be included in the spring round unless you advise Shelia otherwise.
