The most popular items requested at the Children's Advocacy Center are stuffed bears and cozy blankets - and last year 37 people and organizations donated stuffed animals and bears to CAN! Blankets of all kinds were donated by 22 various groups and individuals. We are deeply grateful for all the donations made last year! Thank you to all our partners who were so kind!

The
Owasso Reporter recently published an article on the child abuse case in Owasso. Rose Turner, Interim Executive Director of CAN, shared the following with reporter Art Haddaway, "This case was alarming to the child abuse multidisciplinary team in Tulsa due to the infants' state. Certainly the recent case out of Owasso is an egregious incident that could have resulted in the death of a child if law enforcement and DHS had not intervened."
