All leaders and interested citizens are invited to a community-wide reception to be held Tuesday evening, January 31, starting at 5:30 at the Habersham EMC Community Room. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served, so come directly from work.
In November 2016, the Chamber and Cities of Cornelia and Clarkesville hosted a State Tourism Product Development (TPD) team. The purpose of the trip was to visit all the tourism assets the county and all municipalities have, determine how these may be better developed and/or marketed for multi-state attraction, and make recommendations for how to do this. Additionally, state grant money is available to municipalities for implementing recommendations from the team.
The team returned to their respective locations from around the state and continued to research and discuss Habersham's assets and to develop a plan. This team will return to Habersham on January 31 to make recommendations to the community.
Reservations are not required to attend. However, since food will be provided, a courtesy RSVP to the Chamber at 706-778-4654 or [email protected] will be appreciated.
Please join the Habersham Chamber, Leadership Habersham and community representatives in Habersham County Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

Anyone may join the Habersham Chamber to ride the bus and enjoy a catered lunch with the group at the Capitol. You will need to pay $30.00 per person in advance for a seat and lunch.
