We Did It!

We're proud to announce that City to Shore has raised
$6 million through your tremendous support! These funds drive research breakthroughs and support vital services for people affected by MS. We are so grateful for your commitment to the Ride and to the National MS Society's mission.

While we didn't reach a record-breaking $6.5 million, we made incredible strides this year, despite some bumps in the road. After the Ride's cancellation in 2015, we faced a drop in our registration numbers -- but through your support, we still reached the $6 million mark. This is an amazing accomplishment, and we are inspired by your hard work and dedication.

Thank you again for making City to Shore 2016 a success. We wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season!

Significant research breakthroughs occurred in 2016, offering new leads toward our vision of a world free of MS. Over the course of the year, the Society invested over $42 million in 380 new and ongoing research projects, fellowships and initiatives around the world, and committed to further advance treatments for progressive MS with three new large-scale  Collaborative Network Awards , launched by the International Progressive MS Alliance.

Large-scale clinical trials recently broke through a long-standing barrier, demonstrating, for the first time, an ability to slow the course of progressive MS. Additionally, the results of previous Society investments continue to mount.

Your incredible support makes this progress possible. Learn more on our website >
