Dear St. Luke's Parishioners,

Looking ahead to our 2017 Annual Parish Meeting, we will be looking for those interested in serving on our Endowment Board as well as the Vestry.  Below are the biographical questions that will need to be filled out if you, or someone you know, are interested. - Thank you for your part in making St. Luke's a loving and giving parish.
 
Hot Breakfast

Breakfast this coming Sunday, January 8, will be provided by guest chefs, Rick & Mason Rummel.

Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45am where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship. 
 
2017 Contribution Envelopes are available at both main entrances to the church.

Please be sure to sign your name (legibly) and the envelope box number on the sheets provided.

If you don't, we have no way of identifying your cash donations. Thank you! 
 
Service on Friday, January 6
On Friday, January 6th at 6pm, we will celebrate The Feast of the Epiphany with Holy Eucharist. 

Epiphany marks the conclusion of Christmastide and embarks us on a new season of the Church year that leads up to Lent.

Adult Faith Formation
On Sunday, January 8th, we start a new topic in our Adult Faith Formation series: "Miracles & Where to Find Them," addressing questions like, "How do we define miracle? 

What does the biblical witness reveal about them?  Have you experienced a miracle?"  We'll begin at 9:00am with a hot breakfast. 
 
Christmas Un-decorating the church
Un-decorating the church will be on January 8, 2016, after the 10am service.

Hopefully, many of you can stay to help. Remember, many hands makes quick work, and more fun!
 
Altar Flower Memorials for 2017
I t's time to renew your dates for 2017 altar flower memorials. Letters with order forms will be sent to the previous year's donors. Please respond promptly since renewals are honored first.

New donors are also welcome and encouraged to respond with a date!

Please call Ursula Brooks at 245-1342 so she can gather all necessary information.
 
Annual Parish Meeting, Jan. 15, 2017
Plan to attend our 2017 parish meeting on January 15 at 10:15am.

We will have our 8am Rite I with Eucharist then our Rite II with Eucharist at 9am, instead of 10am.

A luncheon will be served after the parish meeting in Board Hall.

Please join us for Centering Prayer on Tuesday, January 17, at 6pm in the church.

The Vestry Person on Duty (VPOD) is responsible for assisting the Rector with welcoming newcomers and closing the church after worship has been conducted.
