Speak at Life March Central
ALEXANDRIA, La. - Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry and U.S. Congressman Ralph Abraham will be featured speakers at the second Louisiana Life March Central on Saturday, Feb. 4.

The Life March Central is the final of three similar events being held across Louisiana on three consecutive weekends. The event includes a pro-life march from Pineville to Alexandria and a program of prayers, speakers and music at Alexandria's Ampitheatre on the banks of the Red River.

The Life March will begin at 10 a.m. at Louisiana College. Participants will gather a few minutes before 10 in front of Alexandria Hall, then proceed on Main Street to the Jackson Street Bridge, where they will cross into Alexandria. The march will conclude at the Ampitheatre.

A life ministry mobilization area at the Ampitheatre will be manned by area pregnancy centers and organizations, and participants can visit the tables before or after the program. Others scheduled to participate in the program include Sancha Smith, Concerned Women of America; Bishop David Talley, Diocese of Alexandria; Bro. Kevin Cox, Louisiana District of Pentecostals; Ryan Verret and Krista Corbello, Louisiana Right to Life; Mel Gauthier, Lily of the Valley Ministries; Hannah Terrebonne, Louisiana College Students for Life; and the Rev. Brian Gunter, pastor of First Baptist Church of Pollock.

Participants can park at Louisiana College (as space is available). Buses and vans will carry marchers back to Pineville once the program has concluded.
