Help Me Grow Highlight
This January,  United Cerebral Palsy's (UCP) First 5 funded Great Beginnings program will start delivering special book bags to families that include social-emotional skill building books.  Regional Centers across California are working on federal improvement plans, and  Valley Mountain Regional Center is focusing on the social-emotional development of children in the Early Start program. UCP serves children using the Raising A Reader program, and will add special green book bags of social-emotional themed books to weekly rotated book bag exchanges.  We are excited to see this new innovation!
