However, this weekend training means that I don't have as much time as I'd like to write articles for this week's issue. In fact, I just have two: a reflection on Apple
terminating support for Final Cut Pro 7 (and the other apps in Final Cut Studio 3) in the upcoming macOS High Sierra update and how to work with
super slow-motion video in Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
Don't forget to sign up for
this week's webinar - an in-depth look at the motion tracking and image stabilization features in several different
CoreMelt plug-ins. I presented much of this last week at the
LACPUG meeting and got a lot of good comments. For this webinar, I'm slowing down the presentation to make it, ah, a bit less manic and adding more demos. This is a fun session - and registration is
FREE.

On the
Digital Production Buzz last week, we talked with five different filmmakers on what it takes to
make a successful film. While we spoke with different people, I was struck by how similarly they described the characteristics of a successful film; and filmmaker. From the perspective of network television to feature films, these were some impressive guests with great stories.
The last weekend of summer arrives next week. Hope you had time to get some rest, as I suspect this fall will be busier than ever. Until next week,
edit well.
