It's time to think about testing--the type of test or evaluation you plan to use and where you plan to purchase it. It's also a good time to get your questions answered.

If you're new to homeschooling, this testing information should allay your concerns. Most homeschool students do very well, but if you think your child may be an exception, give yourself enough time to retest or choose another method of evaluation if needed.

Testing can be very beneficial! It's not only an evaluation of how your child is progressing, but also a measure of how effectively your teaching methods work with your child. You can use testing results to adjust your curriculum, teaching style, and teaching time to fit your child's individual needs.

Know the facts! Don't let testing intimidate you. It can be a great tool!
