NEW PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT!
Casa De Mana
View From Casa De Mana

Strong Tower Ministries has always relied on God's timing to dictate our next steps in ministry. After 12 years of serving in Baja, God has decided now is the time for Strong Tower to establish a base in La Mision, BC from which to serve those living in and those coming to serve in Baja. Several parcels of land totaling almost 2 acres are in the process of being purchased with the intention of developing the property into a multi-use center to include long term staff housing, intern housing, visiting group lodging, a counseling center, dining facility and gathering areas for prayer and Bible teaching. This is being looked at as a "long term work in progress" project and as always will depend on financial/material donations and volunteer support to get accomplished.

Mark, Christine, Storm, Sarah, Aaron
Adam Stieve (our Central Valley Coordinator) will be the project manager for Casa De Mana. In addition, we have been blessed to have the Landis family as full-time onsite facilitors. The family has recently re-located from the state of Washington to La Mision to join the Strong Tower team. Mark is bringing his construction and counseling background while his wife Christine begins a home school teaching program in the fall for local missionary families. Their two daughters, Storm and Sarah, will be welcomed interns as they engage with the local community of La Mision and other ministries that Strong Tower has relationships with. The Landis family is standing by with welcoming hugs and handshakes for all of you wanting to drop by and check out the project! Stay tuned for upcoming ways YOU can be involved in the next BIG steps for Strong Tower Ministries. For those wishing more details about the project please contact Adam at: [email protected] .
Can One Day Make A Difference?
Andrea with mom and sister (center)

Take a trip to Baja!  I (finally) did and it was WONDERFUL!

I had been on the "GIVING" end of Stong Tower Ministries for years. In August, the high school group at our church needed me as a driver and for the "experience" I had going to Mexico on a semi-regular basis. However, I did not really want to go as a "RECEIVER" of all the good stuff Strong Tower does. The trip was totally set up for us...transportation...service projects...accommodations...food...and the LEADERSHIP to pull it all off!

We (15 of us) had a GREAT time! And we might have actually, maybe even "accidentally" (as our Ministry President DJ has said) helped some folks! My favorite moment was a concrete pour we did at Andrea's house. She was a normal teenager who contracted a terrible, near fatal infection, that has put her in a wheelchair. She is unable to care for herself and also unable to leave her house in that wheelchair, due to a rough dirt pathway leading to both the main street and their outhouse. Well, we were able to help take care of that one (relatively) small problem for her! The high school group worked in the sun for hours to make it happen. The look on her face as she came to the doorway to check out her new "freedom road" made the whole trip worth it for me!

Get a group together! Make it happen! Help change somebody's life as well as your own!

Siloe Wellness Center CLINIC Opens!
On Saturday, August 19th the Siloe Wellness Center Clinic officially opened to the public!
It's hard to believe that in March of 2016 this was just a dirt lot. But thanks to hundreds of volunteers and donors, the clinic accomodated over 40 patients and 30 health practitioners from Loma Linda, CA.  Although the clinic is seeing patients, we still have a LONG WAYS to go in finishing this project which means we still need your help! September goals are to begin work on Phase 3 walls and begin finish work on the upstairs apartment and office areas. Check out the newsletter calendar at the top of page and then email Jim at [email protected]
