BALTIMORE FOOTLIGHTS 1/26/17
On Thursday, January 26 at 7:30 PM, please join us at the Audrey Herman Spotlighters Theatre for a reading of
Marrying In
, by Guild member Miryam Madrigal.
Marrying In tells the story of
Yael and Noam Gold, an interracial Orthodox Jewish couple who move into to an insular, religious (Jewish) section of Baltimore. A racist incident on Pu
rim threatens to break them apart. The central question is: can love between two people transcend the environment that surrounds them?
The event is free and open to Dramatists Guild members and non-members. Free street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood; please plan to arrive early to ensure you find parking. A talk-back with the playwright will follow the reading.
