Midyear Graduation Meeting!
There will be a mandatory meeting on January 6 at 8:30 am
in the Art Gallery for all students who will be graduating in February.

Graduation Date
The MPHS Class of 2017 will be graduating on
Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 4pm at the Spectrum Center (where the Hornets play/formerly called Time Warner Cable Arena).
Families will not need tickets. All are welcome, and you can invite as many guests as you want.

Proctors Needed!!!

NC Requires 1 proctor per each room for EOC standardized exams and Roving Proctors for other exams. In efforts to try and keep teachers administering their own tests as we shift to online testing we will need as much help as possible. Skills Needed:
- Ability to observe students
- Willingness to help
Training takes place at 6:45am on the morning of the selected exam. Most exams are complete by 11:00am.

Art for the Park Party
Don't miss out on the special December ticket price! Tickets SOLD OUT last year! Please join the MPHS Foundation for the 2nd annual "Art for the Park" Party, January 28th, 7:00 - 10:00 Extravangaza Depot. The silent auction of art and ceramics will help raise funds to support the Foundation's work at Myers Park. A wide variety of prices, sizes and styles are available. MPHS is home to nearly 1000 students considered at-risk. MPHS Foundation raises funds to support a full time coordinator from Communities in Schools who works closely with 100 at-risk students each year. The Foundation seeks to provide funds to expand these effective programs so more students will benefit. The proceeds from the Art for the Park fundraiser will support MP's newest initiative, Mustangs Matter.

Women's Soccer Interest Meeting Friday
There will be an interest meeting for anyone interested in trying out for MP women's soccer in room S7 this Friday Jan. 6th at 2:15. Meeting is for players only.
