Puppy Sweater KAL
January 5 and 12 from 1 - 3 pm
Moderator:  Molly
Come knit a sweater for your 4 legged family member.
The pattern uses worsted weight yarn; we have chosen Encore. The pattern works for all sizes   and requires 200-400 yards of yarn depending on the   size of your dog.
The Staggard Shawl
Moderator: Ingrid
January 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 2 pm - 4 pm.
Join Ingrid to knit this beautiful shawl on Friday's in January. This project is in a kit which includes the Universal yarn and a project bag.  
You will need US #7 circular needles.
Building in Color
Moderator:  Arlene
January 16, 23, 30, February 6, ending February 13.
 More time can be  allotted  if needed.
US #6  Needle 24" and 40" Cord
 Knit Purl Hunter's second book  Building in Color (available in store) teaches ten methods of color work.   We will knit 10 strips each using a different method of color work.  The first will be intarsia.    
 
E. Zimmerman's Surprise Baby Jacket

February 20, 27, March 6 & 13 from 11 am - 1 pm
This project is a prerequisite for those who want to make the Adult Surprise Jacket and is considered a classic hand knitting pattern.  The jacket has a unique shaping and construction with easy to follow line by line instructions. 
US # 3-5 needle and a 24" (one that gets gauge).

 
The Nordic Hat
Moderator:  Molly
January 7 & 14 from 10 am - 12 pm.
 This is a beginner's Fair Isle KAL.  
We'll be using Brown Sheep's Lamb's Pride Bulky Yarn. Kits will be available by December 26. The hat will be knit in the round in one piece, no sewing.
US # 10 DPN and circular needles. The pattern is $6 on Ravelry
Catch and Release

This KAL begins January 11, 18, & 25 on Wednesdays from 12 pm - 2 pm.
This is a light weight cardigan KAL using sock weight yarn and size 10 needles. Our shop sample is made with Malabrigo Sock Yarn.  
 Uses 1200 - 1600 yards of sock weight yarn and US #8 & 10 needles.
Pattern is $6.50 on Ravelry.
