Whether you want to develop your riding skills with private or group lessons this winter, spend time on the trails, learn about horsemanship, or own your own horse for the day, Mead Farm has an activity for you.
15 Museums for Horse Lovers
Ready for a road trip?  Here are 15 museums dedicated to all things equine.
Pony Express mailbag. Olympic gold medals. Gilded carriages. Championship belt buckles. Triple Crown trophies. Breathtaking art and antiques. Real, live horses.  These, and much more, are on display at museums across the country.

Whether you're interested in learning more about specific breeds or sports, delving into equestrian history, or just admiring beautiful paintings and sculpture, according to EQUUS Magazine (July 2016), there is a museum out there that will capture your interest---and many are located near other amazing equestrian attractions. As you plan your travels this coming year, consider arranging some time to tour museums that honor horses and equestrian pursuits.
