A Few Minutes with Lenora Henry, BOPA's Assistant Director or Development
Q. What are some of the most challenging parts of raising money for BOPA’s programs?

A. The challenging part is trying to get donors and sponsors to understand our mission and our goal in raising funds, simply because people think of us as a city agency when we are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. We want to make sure each partner understands our needs and they are matched up with proper events and programs that align with their mission .
