Writing Your Book: From Start to Finish and Everything In Between
Wednesday, Aug. 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This is the year you write your book. Sound daunting? It doesn't need to be if you follow your idea's lead and create a routine that not only builds on your initial inspiration, but also takes into account your lifestyle and personality. At the conclusion of this class you will be ready to begin your project with the excitement and know-how that will help you not only start your book, but finish it. $40/$38 returning students

Writing Fiction and Nonfiction Workshop
Wednesdays Sept. 20, 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25, Nov. 1 & 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Writers need one another for feedback and community, but also to generate ideas and learn from one another. In this workshop writers will have the opportunity to come together to evaluate published work as well as that of our peers. This workshop will be demanding in that you will be expected to read 30-40 pages of material every week (both published work and that of your peers), to prepare written feedback for your peers' work for each two-hour class session, and to submit at least two original pieces of writing for workshop during the session. Together we will work to figure out your writing strengths, and we will also identify areas for improvement. Your tuition includes a new copy of the book Alpine Apprentice. $320/$304 returning student
