Mission Statement
We are a diverse, egalitarian, and inclusive community of Jews and interfaith families.  We joyfully embrace Judaism as a way of life through prayer, music, social action, celebrating Jewish holidays, lifelong learning, and life cycle events.  Through these activities, we seek to promote spiritual growth, moral values, and the social welfare of our community.

Vision Statement
Temple Sinai strives to be a joyful, energetic, accepting, innovative, caring, and accessible faith community.  We choose to practice and teach Jewish traditions in our community, so that Jews and Judaism will continue to flourish, both in Vermont and in an ever-changing world.  We believe that support for a safe and prosperous State of Israel is an important part of our Jewish identity.

Packets Mailing Soon!

The High Holidays are just around the corner.  High Holiday Packets will be mailed to members in good standing by the end of August.  If you have not already paid your commitment for 2017 or made arrangements to do so, please contact the Temple Office as soon as possible.
Social Action Opportunity

For this Mitzvah Project, we plan  to create hygiene care bags for the Homeless and Women's Shelters in Chittenden County.

All congregants are asked to participate by bringing any new, unused personal care hygiene items (preferably travel-sized) to the Temple. Desired items for the bag include: shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream, soap, razors, chap stick, Kleenex, wash cloths, and new or gently used socks (This is a great opportunity to clean out all the collected hotel/motel items that are taking up space in your drawers or cabinets, while helping the less fortunate at the same time!).

Items may be placed in the box located in the lounge area by the Administrative Offices.   For for more information or if you are interested in helping with this project, please contact Linda Snider at  802-777-2269 or [email protected].
