SAI launches Nepal Studies Program
The 3-year program will focus on a different faculty-led topic of interest each year, and engage with scholars and practitioners both on the ground in Nepal and in Cambridge. Topics will include earthquake preparedness, the spread and development of Buddhism in the India-Nepal-Tibet corridor using unread manuscripts, and Hindu and Buddhist rituals such as coronations.
Harvard students in South Asia

This winter session, SAI has awarded 15 grants to graduate students and undergraduates for internships and research projects in India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Myanmar, and Pakistan.
