Contestants provide their own quality items to be 
judged on and to help raise funds for TAA and it 
charities. The event is held on Friday, October 27 in the
historic Cowtown Coliseum in the Stockyards. It is held as
part of the Red Steagall Cowboy Festival and there is no
additional entry fee to watch and bid!

Last year was a HUGE success! Contestants came from other states and all categories of auctioneering. Don't miss out this year!!

AUCTION TIPS: MERCHANT COMPANIES, CREDIT CARDS & CHARGEBACKS

Just how exposed do you want to be in your business?
 
That is a question that our attorney asked us at our yearly review meeting of our SOP  (Standard Operating Procedures).

Merchant companies and credit cards allow us to give our buyers more options in paying for their auction invoices. We hope they spend more money at our auction with these conveniences thus allowing us to make our sellers happier clients. 
 
Did you know that some credit cards like American Express will give their cardholders an indefinite amount of time to dispute a charge? Not a year or 30 days- an AMEX cardholder can theoretically dispute a charge 3 years down the road, if they are so inclined.
