Pre-Airshow, Friday Night Exclusive Hangar Party

Experience this exclusive opportunity to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Selfridge Air National Guard Base with their Friday night dinner, twilight airshow, concert and fireworks! Dine and party in an aircraft hangar along with airshow performers, including the USAF Thunderbirds, community and military dignitaries and our local men and women in uniform! Ribbon Cutting Celebration

AT&T has opened a new location in Shelby Township at 15139 23 Mile Road.  The grand opening of the new 2000 square foot AT&T Retail store was held last week to address the growing demand for advanced home entertainment and mobile products and services. Welcome to the Chamber!
Tim Vargas named chief operating officer at McLaren Macomb

Tim Vargas has been announced as the chief operating officer at McLaren Macomb, the 288-bed acute care hospital in Mount Clemens. Vargas assumes the position made vacant after previous COO Chris Candela was named chief executive officer of McLaren Lapeer.
Vargas began his new position effective July 17, 2017.

Baker College Girls STEM Camp opens door to fascinating careers

Baker College Girls STEM Camp at the Clinton Township campus was a flying success for girls ages 12-14 from the Warren and Mount Clemens areas, Tuesday, Aug. 8. The campers were immersed in building small drones, driving robots and learning about cybersecurity, cyber defense and other STEM-related career.  Baker College Girls STEM Camp is one of many efforts across the state that Baker College campuses have undertaken to interest more females early on in pursuing careers in STEM-related fields.

First State Bank donates $5,000 to aid victims of child abuse

As part of its centennial celebration, First State Bank is honored to award a $5,000 donation to Care House, a Macomb County nonprofit that helps children heal from the trauma of sexual and physical abuse. Care House supports children throughout the investigation of abuse cases and beyond. It also works with non-offending family members to help them cope in the aftermath
