Civil Service Gratitude Shabbat

Show your support for the men and women of the Scarsdale Police Department, Fire Department and Volunteer Ambulance Corps, as we thank them for their dedicated service and protection of our community.

Following Shabbat services, join us for a special BBQ/Oneg of burgers, hot dogs and summer salads.

	Cooking4HOPE Monday, August 28 at 10:00 am in the Temple kitchen Come help prepare a meal that will be delivered to Hope Community Services, a soup kitchen in New Rochelle serving over 120 men, women and children.
	Just a reminder about Membership Renewal and High Holidays Entrance Card Order Forms. If you have not received your packet by mail, please call Hillary Fontana at 914-468-0523. Entrance cards will be mailed on August 23 for all members who have completed their membership commitment for the 2017-2018 year. Please note if you have guest attending WRT, or if you and your family will be attending another Reform Synagogue for High Holidays, reciprocal forms are required. It is the responsibility of members to make sure their guests attain the appropriate forms from their synagogue. For any questions, please contact Nattalie Rodriguez at 723-7727.
	Do you have a child at college? Let us know their mailing address so the WRT Youth Committee can send them a few holiday gifts during the year. SHHHHHHH...don't tell. We want it to be a surprise! 	WRJ Honey Fundraiser Bring in the New Year by ordering gifts of honey for your family and friends, and help support the endeavors of Women of Reform Judaism at WRT. Order honey for family and friends at $12 a bottle, and additionally you can send honey to WRT Clergy and Professional Staff at $10 a bottle. For more information and to place orders click here. 	2017 Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) Biennial in Boston, MA December 6 - 10, 2017 At the largest Jewish gathering in North America, 5,000 attendees will come together to worship, learn, sing, build community, and shape the future of the Reform Movement. WJCS [Westchester Jewish Community Services] : Through the Partners in Caring Program , WRT is able to offer the support of an onsite Social Worker from WJCS, as well as offer social services to congregants in need.

UJA-Federation of NY: We are grateful for a special grant to enable and empower WRT to be the most inclusive congregation we can be. UJA-Federation also facilitates our partnership with the Jewish Deaf Resource Center, to provide ASL interpretation on demand at services and WRT programs.

URJ [Union for Reform Judaism]: Our Reform Movement's synagogue arm; WRT is a proud member of the URJ and celebrates the leadership of URJ President, WRT Rabbi Emeritus Rick Jacobs.
