 Snow Removal RFP
Special Service Area (SSA) #33 is currently seeking snow removal vendors for this upcoming winter season. Services will need to be provided between Nov. 15, 2017 and Apr. 15, 2018. The deadline to apply is Thursday, August 31. For more information, please click

New Neighborhood SAFETY & SECURITY Rebate Programs
After consulting with SSA #33 taxpayers and neighborhood stakeholders over the past six months, as well as engaging a public quality-of-life consultant (
Responsible Hospitality Institute President & Founder
Jim Peters), WPB SSA #33 has updated its previous graffiti abatement rebate program to include a range of
safety-related rebates:
- Security cameras
- Exterior lighting
- Anti-smash glass film
- Window repair
- Graffiti removal
- Private security
The new rebates are for eligible properties within the boundaries of WPB SSA #33, and will reimburse 50 percent of the cost of one or more of these neighborhood safety measures, up to $1,000 per measure annually, per location. Private security reimbursements are now eligible for 75% UP TO $5,000 annually, per location.
 Green Message
Every year, billions of cigarette butts end up in dumpsters and landfills, or get tossed as litter on shorelines, parks, and sidewalks across the country. So did you know the SSA is now offering a way to RECYCLE cigarettes? Look for these orange aluminum boxes all around the neighborhood! Used cigarette butts are collected periodically and sent to a company called
Terracycle. And for every pound of cigarette waste collected, $1.00 will be donated towards the Keep America Beautiful Cigarette Litter Prevention Program!
