General Membership Meeting - January 31

Mark your calendar and make plans to attend a General Membership Meeting of the Maryland Society of Surveyors, Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the O'Callaghan Hotel in Annapolis, Maryland.
MSS is honored to invite Governor Larry Hogan as our featured speaker.  We are hopeful the governor will join us, or, in the alternative, MSS will host a representative of the Hogan Administration.  Change is in the air in Maryland and the governor and his administration are making the state more business-friendly.  Join us to learn about these changes and what it means for the demand for surveying services across the Free State.

MSS Baltimore Chapter & Workforce Development

On Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 12:00 pm, the Baltimore chapter will hold their monthly meeting at WBCM, 300 East Joppa Road, Suite 200, in Towson. Representatives from the Baltimore City mayor's office of economic development (MOED) will join us. We will be discussing the pilot program we're developing in conjunction with the MOED and the city school system. This is part of MSS's workforce development efforts.

If your firm is located or works in/around the City, please plan to attend and find out more about the pilot. We'll have a variety of ways to participate and we need your help! If you're not in/around the City, we still want you to attend since we hope to develop programs similar to this pilot across the state.

A pizza lunch will be served. Cost for lunch is $10 for licensed surveyors, $5 for all others. RSVP to Bryan Haynie at Century Engineering.
