Help Needed for Red & White Benefit Invitations on 12/21

Invitations: Help is needed tomorrow, Tuesday, December 21, to assemble invitations! Drop in any time during school hours to lend a hand, even if you've only got an hour to spare. The more help, the quicker it goes! Please report to the Advancement Office. If we don't get enough help on Tuesday, stuffing will continue into Wednesday. Contact Mary Appel first to see if help is still needed on Wednesday.

Donations: After Christmas and year-end sales are a great time to shop for silent auction items. Food and liquor baskets, gift cards, tickets to sporting or music events, or "experiences" are also very popular. Items may be dropped off in Advancement or the school office during business hours. Please also take a moment to fill out the donation form so that we can give proper credit with the donated item. Download a donation form here or pick one up in the office.

Volunteers: A few spots remain. See where you can still be of service!

Advertising: Advertise your business or congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Johnson in the event program. Rates and additional information may be found here.

With your support, we can make this our most successful event yet! Please contact  Mary Appel with questions or visit the website to learn more about the annual Red & White Benefit.
Check Lost & Found Items Before 12/22
Parents, p lease make sure to take a look in the lost and found area this week. It's located on the west side of the cafeteria. Any unclaimed items by December 22 will be donated.
A Friendly Reminder on Dressing Children for Winter Recess
Parents, when your children head out the door in the morning, please make sure that they have sufficient clothing to wear outside for recess during the day: hats, scarves, mittens/gloves, sweatpants and/or snow pants, etc.

Recess is held outside every day, except for situations where the administration determines conditions to be unsuitable for outdoor play. It gets cold here in Minnesota, but children thrive when they have the opportunity for fresh air and outdoor play all year long!
Morning Drop-Off and Afternoon Pick-Up Reminders
Now that the snow has arrived, please review the drop-off and pick-up procedures:
  • Vehicles should only travel eastbound on Lafond Avenue.
  • Curb space is reserved for immediate drop-off and pick-up only; please make use of all space between Door #1 and the main entrance.
  • Always park in the main lot (across the street from the front steps of the church) if you are entering the building.
  • Drivers may not use the small lot between the church and school for drop-off or pick-up.
  • Parents are responsible for the safety and well being of their children once they are released to them by their teachers at dismissal.
Christmas Toys & Food Pantry for School Families
A generous benefactor has donated a number of Christmas toys for school families who may need a a little extra help this year.  If you wish to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact Mr. John Ernster at (612) 247-0456 to set up a time to review available items. Please arrange a time when children will be occupied and only parents are present.

Mr. Ernster also manages the Saint Agnes School Food Pantry. This free service is provided for any current Saint Agnes School family with financial need, and is restocked almost weekly during the school year. It is open most Wednesday afternoons, but you may contact Mr. Ernster for specific hours of operation or to make alternate arrangements.
