You'll enjoy a tailored program led by zoo staff (
including a zoo tour in the dark), interacting with some animals, exploring the zoo on your own and interactive games on your quest for the badge of your choice! Suggested badges include, Bugs, Animal Habitats, Animal Helpers, Voice for Animals, & others can be accommodated with advanced notice.

Boise State University- Engineering and Science Festival
This is a
FREE event for all ages that has a variety of engaging activities
designed for K-12 and their families.
Girl Scouts who attend in uniform will receive a passport of activities to do and a 3D printed pin at the check in area! For more information, activity descriptions, free bus passes, and to register, click here.
Meridian unBound- Make Your Own Video Game
Is your Junior working on the Entertainment Technology badge, or is your Girl Scout interested in how video games are made? 2017 Chuck McLane Scholarship
Provided by the Arconic Foundation (formerly Alcoa Foundation), the Chuck McLane Scholarship is a $10,000 college scholarship awarded to two Girl Scout Gold Award recipients whose projects involved science, technology, engineering, and/or math (STEM). 2017 KMPG Future Leaders Program
This program affords top female high school seniors, selected by the Office of Condoleezza Rice, the opportunity to enhance their personal growth through college scholarships ($10,000), a leadership development retreat at Stanford University, a mentor for one year, and an introduction to golf. Applicant criteria includes: planning to enroll into a 4-year undergraduate program, minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA, and interest in business/STEM academic track. Application due Jan 30. 2017 Girl's Choice Badges
For the third year in a row, girls will have the opportunity to cast their votes to tell GSUSA which badges they want to earn, and what they want those badges to look like. Volunteers needed for Jubilation 2018
Jubilation is a tri-annual, volunteer driven, council supported encampment since 2000. Jubilation 2018 may seem far away, but it is right around the corner for planning! They are looking for volunteers to help plan the event. You don't have to be a leader to help - parents, friends or acquaintances can help with this event. You just need to be an approved volunteer and support the Girl Scout Mission.
