   Before

After
WOW, what a difference!

Sincere THANK YOU to ALL who  helped
make the new courtyard possible.
So many parents and faculty came out  the weekend
of July 28th  to rebuild and landscape the
courtyard on Japonica Campus.

When we work together, we can achieve anything!

Physics Boat Project

Some of this year's successful cardboard boats
(And one not so successful!)

The students complete the Buoyancy Unit and then test their boats, which is the best part!

*(Special thanks to Julie Lary who let us use her pool this year)*

St. Luke's Student at Yale

Anna Marie Bentley received an invitation from the women's head tennis coach at Yale University to participate in the College Exposure Tennis Camp held at Yale University this summer.  Approximately 14 tennis coaches from various colleges led the camp for rising 8th graders through 12th graders from across the country.  The campers participated in singles and doubles college-style drills, and focused on doubles strategies.  The coaches also educated the campers on the college recruiting process.  Anna Marie learned some new doubles techniques and strategies that she is excited to share with St. Luke's tennis coach, Michael O'Brien.

GO Wildcat! We are going to see great things from this young lady!

6th Grade Trip- Tremont, Tennessee

6th graders went to Tremont, Tennessee in the heart of The Great Smokey Mountains, for the ultimate outdoor experience. This trip culminated their area of study in Life Science. Being able to experience science hands-on is one of the many ways St. Luke's teachers go above and beyond for our students. In return, the students learn life lessons and build friendships.

Tremont...let Nature inspire you!

7th Grade Trip- Key Largo, Florida

We had an amazing adventure, and each student has a multitude of memories to share from this trip. Thank you for allowing your child to spend a week immersed in education, life lessons, and unforgettable experiences. We truly appreciate being involved in your child's academic journey through middle school!

8th Grade Trip- Washington D.C.

This summer, the 8th graders traveled to Washington D.C. to experience our Nation's Capital. Throughout their 8th grade year,  students study US History and the building of our nation. The museums and monuments bring into perspective the sacrifice made by so many to build the nation we live in today.

Go forth, our future leaders!

 BioMed Gives BIG Thanks!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Saad's Healthcare for providing (3) CNA Scholarships to our Biomed students this summer. These scholarships covered tuition, textbooks and testing fees.  The students were allowed to wear their St. Luke's Biomed scrubs, giving our program further recognition in the community! Thanks to their generosity, recent alum Ellie Milwee, and seniors, Madison Hoke and Brianna White, enrolled in and passed their Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) course. These three students have been offered jobs by our clinical partner,
Springhill Medical Center.

Congratulations girls!

 JAPONICA CAMPUS HAS

Please students, take care of your new facilities!
