Shop with a Cop or Firefighter

On Saturday, December 10, 2016, the Haines City Police Department and Haines City Fire Department, participated in the 2016 Shop with a Cop or Firefighter Event. This year, the event took place at Haines City Big Lots, where 53 children from our local schools were given $100.00 gift cards to allow them to shop for themselves and their families for Christmas. After the children shopped, they were transported to El Zocalo by Small World Transportation, a private charter bus. El Zocolo provided the children with a wonderful meal for brunch. Thank you to all who participated in this heartfelt event!
