Visit us in the shiny new gallery in East Walnut Hills and just as before, we're open seven days a week for all of your handmade needs. The new space is easy to find - from our original location, just head west on Madison, (less than a mile) and we are on the left, past the firehouse at the corner of Madison and Moorman. There is plenty of easy street parking as well as public lots nearby.
Please mark your calendars for our Grand Opening event, September 29 & 30 when we will share our story about the soon-to-be-discovered 100 lucky indigenous leaves.
For some immediate fun, please join us and our lovely new neighbors for Walk on Woodburn (WoW) THIS Friday, August 18th. It will be a neighborhood celebration as well as our soft opening!
Joining us for WoW will be the talented Amy Greely, presenting a new collection of her nature-inspired jewelry. A tree-full of leaves will be part of Amy's Trunk Show! Also enjoy seeing the works of three new artists along with a dozen brand new deliveries from your indigenous favorites.
As always, we showcase some of the finest handmade arts, crafts, and jewelry in our dynamic collection by 150+ artists with frequent deliveries and complimentary gift packaging.

August 18th is also our first chance to be a part of our new community ~ Friday is Walk on Woodburn (WoW) night in East Walnut Hills.
indigenous will be ready (fingers-crossed) to present our handmade collection in the new space and the business district will be lively - shops, galleries, eateries, and drinkeries will all be a buzz with summer activities from
6 to 9.

As we were planning to

with our move and artful celebrations and promotions,
Amy Greely
came to mind immediately.
Amy captures the natural elegance and life of any leaf, twig, pod, blossom or natural pattern in her wearable art jewelry. We are thrilled that she could join us for our first new leaf event!

We are still unpacking and setting up the gallery, but we're open for business - including opportunities to showcase brand new artists . . .
Jamie Grauvogel just delivered our first batch of her earthy green, carved pottery ~ perfect for the
indigenous collection. Jamie is a Cincinnati native, a graduate of the
College of Mount St Joseph, and an instructor at
Queen City Clay. Be the first to pick up one of her very textured, organic-like piece

"I believe that handmade objects enrich our lives and connect us to one another. My goal, when making work, is to create interactions and relationships between the clay objects and the people who use them. I attempt to find balance between surface and form and love to bounce between hand building and wheel throwing techniques. Each piece I make is handcrafted with care and durable enough for everyday use."

Mark McDevitt & Robert Lee
As we turn over a
new leaf in our new gallery space, we get to introduce a few new artists too! Now available are the fab designs by
Mark McDevitt & Rob Lee of
Methane Studios, two Ohio natives creating an inspiring line of retro-styled art prints. At this year's
Summerfair, Jenn & Diane met Rob & Mark and added to their own eclectic collections with great prints from these guys.
"The roots of this partnership started in the mid 1980s at Columbus College of Art and Design located in Columbus, Ohio. Robert and Mark, both from small Ohio towns, majored in Illustration and bonded over bad 80's haircuts, corndogs, good music and creating art to form a friendship that would transcend into creating award winning artwork recognized worldwide. Our status as well-known designers has led us to win awards in design competitions in How, Print magazine, and the Graphis poster annual."
"In college we learned in a more traditional way which allowed us to explore techniques that we use today. We never let our posters "look" computerized. We use the computer like a pencil or paint brush. The computer has allowed us to speed things up and to explore more options for sure, but we still belly up to the drafting table often. We draw inspiration form many artists be it musical or visual and our work tends to have a vintage influence."

Please welcome
Elizabeth Suellentrop to the
indigenous family of artists. Just by chance, we have another talent from
Queen City Clay joining us as we
turn over a new leaf. Elizabeth delivered her first batch of pottery with her fresh, unique forms, altogether pretty colors, and a certain lightness to the collection that is unlike any of our other great clay works.
"I live in Cincinnati, Ohio with my amazing husband, son and dog, Darryl. I work for Queen City Clay, one of the coolest clay studios you will ever find. When I am not working for QCC or busy being a mom, I have a little time left to make work.
I graduated from Ohio University in 2004 with a BFA in Ceramics, then spent a year in Boulder, Colorado doing a post-bacc at University of Colorado. After that, I went to graduate school at Rhode Island School of Design. During these years I focused mainly on conceptual sculpture.
After graduate school my husband and I moved back to Cincinnati to be closer to our family. I found Queen City Clay and fell in love. I started making pottery after a long stretch of sculpture. I have slowly been incorporating more sculptural, hand-built elements into my pottery forms." ~Beth Suellentrop

Brand new colorful collection of

Jessica & Tyson Geib shipped a bevy of fun & functional pieces featuring imaginative little monsters, spaceships & planets, twigs & flowers, puffy trees, and more.

The first delivery at our new space was the wonderful birdhouses by
Mike Merritt. Each house is artfully crafted with Western Red Cedar, hand-woven, reclaimed barn metal, and roofing tin he finds in the hills of South Carolina. The houses are perfect for any of the common cavity-nesting birds like wrens, chickadees, nuthatches, titmouse, bluebirds, etc., Each is finished with 5 coats of clear exterior UV protective coating and has clean out access on the back. Oh, and they look pretty cool too.

Trish McLennan just delivered a fresh batch of her pottery with Cincinnati-centric and other fun, curious themes. Mugs, platters, bowls, tasting cups, little dishes and more with many of the pieces in her new design direction, adding silk-screened images to her already finely detailed works.

Thank you for your patience with us during our transition into our new location. We're doing our best to prepare an easy breezy, relaxing space to showcase our handmade wares for you. Our aim is that you like it as well as we do!
Friday, August 18th promises to be the perfect evening to enjoy our new neighborhood with our soft-opening and Trunk Show 1 to 9 and the WoW happening 6 to 9. There will be gallery openings, food and drink specials and most of the businesses will offer extended hours. Walk on Woodburn is a regularly scheduled event (every 6 weeks) so please check social media often for dates and details. You won't want to miss any East Walnut Hills celebrations!
Parking is free in front of our building and across the street next to the church & school. Additionally, there are meters on Moorman and two neighborhood parking lots conveniently located. One lot is on Woodburn, just next to the brewery; the other is on Madison, just past O-Pie-O (yum!).
As September rolls around, we will anticipate our favorite season and enjoy even more
indigenous excitement. Along with the
Grand Opening event, we are excited to share the story of our
