Thanks for Helping Parrots!
We're grateful to be part of an incredible community of people that appreciate parrots. Many of you assist with fostering, adoption and general support, giving hundreds of parrots a chance for long and healthy lives and a succession of good homes. We hope you will remain dedicated to learning and improving the lives of birds in your home and elsewhere.
See you in 2017 at our next events!

Our helpingparrots.com store will be closed until January 9th, but we hope you will visit us again then.

Winnie
This beautiful double yellow headed Amazon been well loved with the same person for 20 years. Winnie loves bathing (yay!).  He really enjoys being with multiple other birds, is a great talker, and is amused by dogs (make sure your birds are safe around dogs!). Winnie is a great all-around bird who deserves his many future decades to include the same good life he's had for the first 20!  He also loves to fly, the best exercise of all for our captive parrots.
Sidney
This beautiful female ringneck is 6 years old.   She's charming but also pretty insistent about being the main center of attention.   We think she will do better as the only bird in the household, and we don't say that often.   Win her trust, win a friend!

Are you interested in hands-on training and more intense parrot care discussions? Our popular Step-Up workshops in Asheville, NC have now been scheduled for 2017. These Workshops are designed to give people an abundance of information about parrot care, from behavior and health, to nutrition and enrichment. In addition to discussions and lectures, there are extended hands-on training sessions, cooking and the opportunity to discuss issues of specific importance to you.  Limited to 4 - 6 participants.  For more information go to  phoenixlanding.org/stepup
Please Consider Adoption!
Phoenix Landing is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization. It was established to promote and protect the welfare of parrots through adoption, education and conservation. Almost every bird, from the smallest to the largest, from the most loved to the most neglected, will need a new home someday. Probably a succession of homes. People's lives change, often unexpectedly. One day your bird may need a good new home too.
