The Guardian ad Litem Program of Broward County is appointed to over 2,600 children; however, only 49% of our children are represented by volunteer advocates. If you have a teenager with Special Needs, you will definitely want to attend the 8th Annual Teens' Transition To Life Summit on Sept. 23, 2017. It's an informative day for youth with unique abilities who are interested in college, vocational education and other options in life after high school. Parents are also able to attend workshops and gain access to invaluable resources.
