SECOND COMMUNITY MEETING TO DISCUSS ALTERNATIVE ROUTES FOR NON-POTABLE WATER PROJECT: JANUARY 12

PWP will host a second community meeting to discuss the findings of the Alternative Routes Study Reports for the Non-Potable Water Project, which were made available to the public in late October.  The December 6  meeting discussed the route along Linda Vista Ave., Laurel St., and Parkview Ave. as well as the alternate route along Salvia Canyon and West Dr. The second and final meeting will take place on:

Pipeline Route: Arroyo Blvd and Rose Bowl Dr. or (alternative route) Rosemont Ave.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE - DONATE TO PROJECT A.P.P.L.E.

During this holiday season, consider giving to a PWP customer in need. PWP-supported Project A.P.P.L.E. (Assisting Pasadena People with Limited Emergencies) provides a one-time credit of up to $100 per year to help eligible low-income residential customers pay for their utility bill.  Make a contribution of any amount to Project A.P.P.L.E. by checking the box on your next Pasadena utility bill and include your donation with your payment, or you can donate online. GUIDE TO GENERATORS

The winter season may bring unexpected weather conditions that can leave customers without electricity for an extended period of time. Generators are a valuable tool that can provide power for essential appliances during a service interruption. PWP has created an easy-to-follow guide to help you select a generator to meet your needs.

The comprehensive Guide to Generators features basic information on how to get started, tips to determine capacity needs, the difference between portable and stationary generators, which additional features and accessories to consider, and how to maximize the life of a generator. Additionally, customers can register to receive an automated call from PWP to inform them that their power is out and when they can expect to have it restored. Customers can also utilize PWP's Outage Map to view current outages, receive information about estimated time of restoration, and outage location details.  For more information on all of PWP's emergency preparation tools, click here

GREYWATER SYSTEMS AVAILABLE AT NO-COST FOR INCOME-QUALIFIED CUSTOMERS
Irrigating your landscape with "greywater" - water from showers, washing machines and bathroom sinks - can be a valuable way to conserve water. To promote the use of greywater systems, PWP is now offering a Laundry to Landscape (L2L) system installation to income-qualified customers at  no cost . Customers must be enrolled in PWP's Electric Utility Assistance Program (EUAP) to qualify.   To learn more about PWP's L2L Greywater Direct Install Program, click here.
