Silica Exposure and Prevention
Silica dust is one of the most common hazards on a work site. Breathing in crystalline silica dust over a prolonged period of time can cause silicosis - a serious and irreversible lung disease in which fine particles deposited in the lungs scar the lung tissue. In this presentation we will learn about the dangers of silica dust exposure and how to prevent it.  Review our video presentation here or in msdsBinders to learn more.

This video has been developed for our CHAMP clients to complement job site training and their Exposure Control Plan developed within the system. Contact a Chemscape Representative for details on CHAMP and Exposure Control Plans.
