I got to Magic Town at 1:13 that day. While I was looking around at all of the sculptures that were for sale, one in particular caught my eye, a life size sculpture of a soldier.
The detail was incredible! There was something on the boot that looked strange. A glowing blue orb was on one of the laces. I touched it. I don't remember much, just waking up in a cauldron in a strange place where everything was Halloween themed. I got out of the cauldron and wiped the dust off my jeans, except I felt all weird. I looked down at myself.
"Ahhh!!! I'm made of wax!" I looked around. Everything except the town I was in was huge. I looked up and saw a very large human looking around. Two children came in and said "Papa, Magic Town is so awesome, we love it!" The dad chuckled, "I thought you might like it." I tried to figure out how I got here, then it clicked. The blue orb was a portal!
I looked at my watch, it was 6:09pm, after Magic Town closed. I decided to explore a little bit. All the statues were starting to get up and move around. I passed OKEEFE'S, it was a brick building. On the second story of the building, were apartments with beautiful flowers growing in the beds. The next building was Tony's pizzeria. When I looked into the well-lit building it struck me how hungry I really was. I sat down at a table and ordered a supreme four cheese pizza. By the first bite I knew I was in love. It was the best pizza I'd ever had (other than mama's of course). After I ate, I noticed there were bats on the pizza at the next table and a skeleton in the pizza oven! I wondered if the bats and the skeleton had somehow enhanced the flavor. I thanked the waitress and walked out the door.
I looked around and saw the Crown Theater. "Aww, I really want to see a movie, but I don't have a lot money." I got there and looked at the price. I gasped! The price was only fifty cents! I decided to check into the Darby Hotel before I watched Nightmare on Elm Street.
When I got there, I saw that there was a punch bowl and I thought "Mmm punch!" As I was about to get a cup of punch I looked in the bowl. I almost puked, there were bats in it! I kind of lost my thirst. I went to the check-in counter and asked an employee if there were any rooms available. He handed me a room key and a ghost cookie. I went back to the theater.

"One for Nightmare on Elm Street please." The lady at the ticket booth said "That'll be fifty cents." I handed her two quarters. I went in and got some popcorn at the concession stand.
Once I got in the theater the movie started. We were about half way through the movie when the screen ripped open. All of a sudden, ghosts and zombies came pouring out! Statues screamed. Everybody hid under the chairs except for me. I was stupid and watched in disbelief as all of them poured out into the streets of Magic Town. I ran into an alleyway. I heard whining, so I looked in the direction of it but there was nothing there. I looked back in the direction of the ghouls, when I felt something jump into my lap. I looked down and saw a thin brown puppy.
He was the thing that was whining. I started petting him, trying to get him calmed down. Once I got him calm, I peeked around the corner and there was a zombie two feet away from the alleyway. I held my breath, grabbed the puppy, and backed into a dark corner. When I heard the zombie leave, I exhaled. I needed to get back to the Darby Hotel! I made sure there weren't any monsters nearby, and ran as fast as I could toward the hotel. I barely made it there. I ran upstairs into my room. I set the puppy on my bed and thought of a name for him. "I got it! Snoopy!" Snoopy raised his head and wagged his tail.
"Okay Snoopy, let's get you a bath". I put Snoopy in the tub and started rubbing shampoo into his matted fur. I got a towel from the rack and dried him off with it. When he was dry, I brushed all of the tangles out of his fur.
"Okay Snoopy let's eat some supper". I walked to the fridge and opened it up. I saw the leftover pizza from Tony's. "How about pizza?" He barked. "Pizza it is then." I put one slice on a plate for Snoopy and one slice on a plate for me. I put the plate down for Snoopy and almost immediately the pizza was gone. "Wow! You really devoured that. Here, have another piece." He scarfed that up too.
I had almost forgotten about the ghouls until I realized that I had left the window open and two ghosts flew in. I screamed! I scooped Snoopy up in my arms and ran toward the door, where two more ghosts were coming in. I ran down the stairs with the ghosts in pursuit. When I got out the door, I saw the cauldron portal
glowing. "I have to get to the portal" I thought. I ran until I got two feet away from the cauldron. That's when the zombies caught up! I knew I had to jump to reach the portal. I took a deep breath and jumped.
I woke up in my bed. "It was just a dream" I thought. Then I looked down and cuddled in my legs was my new puppy Snoopy, he jumped up and licked my face. It was real!
