LEARNING ABC'S Aviya Engelhart is leading the class during circle time as she practices reciting the English alphabet. EC4 students spend a period of time learning about a particular letter each work as they work on language and handwriting skills.
STANDING TALL
Morah Esther's EC2 class created their own Menorah decoration for their class and with 9 students in the class, each will represent one of the candles!

Mr. Ricklin's 2nd graders took to the outdoors to conduct a science experiment to ultimately learn about how yeast reacts when activated. (l-r) Daniel Amos, Arieh Rosenzweig, Daniel Newport work together on some flour power.

SWEET TREATS
Judaism is full of so many flavors and to mark the Ethiopian Jewish holiday of SIGD celebrated on the 29th of Cheshvan, our student activities coordinators along with Leora Geralnik (Grade 11) treated students and staff to candy treats while dressed in appropriate attire.

EVERYBODY DO YOUR SHARE
Ms. Bigham's students spend a short portion of time every Friday to perform an extra special clean up of the classroom. Students use cleaning brushes and materials to look after all the great objects and learning tools in their class.

CIRCLE TIME
EC 15 students in Morah Alissa's class enjoy their circle time every morning where they sing songs, learn the rules of the class rules and engage with one another.

GREEN LIKE...
Morah Rinat's 3rd graders learned about the Hebrew book "YAROK C'MO" (Green Like) and then each chose their own color to create their own books in its likeness as they learned about various objects as they relate to colors.

BOOKWORMS
Morah Roza's 4th grade Judaics class worked together to compile
Chumash style art project on Bereshit chapter 40 inspired by artist David Moss.
WORK TO BE DONE
Morah Rivkie's 3rd grade Judaics students are using the Chumash efficiently thanks to the skills learned using the L'havin curriculum!
They also had a hands on lesson for "Choresh" the first of the 39 melachot - work that can not be done on Shabbat! Gilad Yarmush got to "prepare" "earth" for planting!
