BREWSTER DAY CAMP          Newsletter    August 6, 2017       Vol. 36 Issue 17

Greetings Brewster Day Camp!

Welcome to Week 7 at BDC! Whether this is your first, last, or second to last week of camp, it is time to REVEL in the glory of summer and all that camp offers! Hold tight onto each memory, lesson, and friendship for soon we will part.

Last Friday was Olympic Day, and campers REVELED in competition, performances, and fun! Campers tested their physical and mental stamina as they completed in water and land challenges, participated in Olympic trivia, and cheered each other on! Congratulations to Mongolia for taking the gold medal this year! All eight counties did an incredible job and thanks to the counselors and older campers who lead with passion and dedication!

This Friday is CARNIVAL DAY!  On this Special Event Day, campers enjoy hosting and visiting spirited carnival activities. Our BDC Carnival Day is created BY and FOR campers. The atmosphere of Carnival Day is one of joy, wackiness, and laughter for all! Campers REVEL in this exceptional essence of....camp!

As our camp season begins to wind down, I encourage you REVEL in the 'campiness' that summer has to offer.
