Dear Family & Friends of ICSC,
Join us tonight as we reconvene for
Movie Night in the Lecture Hall at 6 p.m. for a screening of Disney's Moana! Bring the kids for fun and unlimited popcorn and close out the evening with magrhib prayer.
On Sunday, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., we will host
ICSC Gives Back - a day of philanthropy and service to the community. In addition to crafting welcome cards for refugees, we will also be collecting new/gently used clothing, school supplies and backpacks to sort and distribute to refugee families, low-income Angelenos, and our ICSC GR8 Finds Thrift Store (proceeds benefit New Horizon School students). Donations will be accepted at the front desk between any of the following times:
Friday: After Jum'a Prayer
Saturday: Noon - 2 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Last weekend, we held our first
Wellness Day program - a day dedicated to providing helpful tools for healthy spiritual, mental, and physical health. The day was a hit from start to finish offering attendees an opportunity to participate in a guided meditation from Heather Laird, an informative session on nutrition from Dr. Karima Hirani, and even a private women's yoga class. Check back for
updates on more programs like Wellness Day.
