Panelists include: James Roosevelt, Jr., David Wallace Douglas, June Hopkins and Tomlin Perkins Coggeshall. The discussion will be moderated by Christopher N. Breiseth, board member of the NNDPA and former president and CEO of the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Institute. There will be a presentation by the National New Deal Preservation Association of the Kathy Flynn Preservations Awards at 3:00 p.m. in advance of the panel and the general public is invited to attend.

In conjunction with the afternoon discussion on Saturday, August 19, 2017, the Roosevelt Library and NNDPA present SONGS OF THE NEW DEAL ERA: WITH RANDALL WALLACE AND JAY UNGAR. Wallace is the grandson of New Dealer and Vice President Henry A. Wallace. The performance begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Henry A. Wallace Center.
