Christmas Eve at Parkway-December 24
4:30pm-Family Friendly Worship
This service will be alive and spirited with many children present. The traditional nativity scripture will be shared as we mingle Christmas carols and contemporary reflections. We will sing Silent Night by candlelight at the close of the service.

7:30pm-Candlelight  Communion Worship
This is a quieter and more contemplative service than the earlier one. We hear the Christmas Gospel, sing traditional carols and reflect upon what all of this means for us today. We celebrate communion at our open table and sing Silent Night by candlelight.

Christmas Morning  Sunday
December 25| 10:00am worship
The hope, peace, joy and love of Advent are coming to fruition! Join us as we begin to care for this baby that has been born to us! We sing Christmas carols and reflect on how and why God has come to live among us.

Video of the Week
Ginny's Gems:   Ginny offers a guided meditation for this Advent from Psalm, "Be still and know that I am God." As we are Living Our Change, Advent reminds us of the importance to prepare for God's change by grounding ourselves in stillness. It is in this stillness that God equips us with the needed resources of hope, joy, peace, and love in order to be Living Our Change with integrity. May this meditation ground you in God's presence during the chaos of this busy season. Blessings, Ginny

We are looking for people to share their faith experiences through a personal story, life event, family tradition, scripture reading, poem or song. You would present your experience in a 2-3 minute presentation during both church services. These will be on the second Sunday of each month. Sharing the experiences will help us gain a deeper understanding of each other and how God has touched your life. We hope many of you will participate and be willing to present your experience in the upcoming months. For more details and scheduling your time to share, please contact Helen Race [email protected] phone 314-401-4382 or Karen Boyd [email protected].

Inspiration
A novice master once responded when asked about a life lived in Christian authenticity, said that to be a Christian was not to know the answers but to begin to live in the part of the self where the question is born...He was speaking of an attitude of listening, of awareness of presence, of an openness to mystery. -Wendy M.
