Approved
Purchase of 1.575-acre property and improvements, located at 1082 N. Walnut Ave., New Braunfels, Texas, authorizing the Superintendent to execute a contract for the purchase and to tender the purchase price, closing cost and execute all closing documents on behalf of the Board of Trustees. The funds for this purchase of $1,750,000.00 will be from the General Fund.

2016-2017 General Fund Budget Amendment to move funds from the Workers Comp Fund to cover the purchase and closing cost for the building purchase located at 1082 N. Walnut Avenue. Amendment total is $2 million.

Public Hearing on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST)
 
Executive Director of Business and Operations Steve Brown gave the annual report on the FIRST rating for NBISD. NBISD earned a score of 92 out of 100 resulting in a "A" letter grade and rating of "Superior Achievement."
