Ethical Leadership: A Global Catalyst for Change
Co-Organiser, Marcel Reid, is a
whistleblower liaison, former ACORN Chair, and Co-Organiser of the Whistleblower Summit for Civil and Human Rights. She was the first national media whistleblower liaison for the Pacifica Foundation, the only position of its kind in media to date. She works tirelessly to shed light on corruption worldwide by actively supporting the efforts of whistleblowers globally.
Tom Devine is Legal Director of the Government Accountability Project in Washington, D.C., and has helped over 7,000 whistleblowers, led campaigns to pass or defend 33 whistleblower laws, has visited 37 countries to advocate free speech rights, and is author of the award-winning "The Corporate Whistleblower's Survival Guide". The State Department has dubbed him the "Ambassador of Whistleblowing".
John Knights
is Chairman of LeaderShape Global and has been a senior executive in major international corporations, a serial entrepreneur, and lecturer at Oxford University. He is an expert in ethical leadership and is an author/editor of multiple books including "The Invisible Elephant & The Pyramid Treasure: Tomorrow's Leadership", "Leadership Assessment for Talent Development", and "Becoming a Transpersonal Leader".
Tony Wall is Professor at the University of Chester UK, Regional Chair of one of the oldest professional bodies for people development in the world (the CIPD), and policy advisor to a European body for mentoring and coaching (EMCC). He is recipient of the prestigious National Teaching Fellowship Award for the international reach and impact of his work into transformational learning/management which places ethics at its heart.
RAPID INCREASES in globalisation and communication technology makes it difficult to hide misdeeds. (Un)ethical leadership affects everyone. But many questions remain: How do we find and develop ethical leaders? How do we develop ethical cultures? How do we get the vast majority of people who have good values to be able to use them without fear? How do we embed this in management and leadership development and education?
With thanks to Publisher Routledge, the main sponsor of the WELS summit.
