More News
(The newsletter formerly known as Family Flyer)
Hello STM Community -

Christmas is fast approaching and the school's toy drive will be bringing many blessings to families in need this holiday season. Don't forget to bring in your new or gently used toys by tomorrow to increase the hope we spread!

We look forward to seeing you all at the Christmas concerts celebrating this wonderful time of year together as a community! Thank you for your support of St. Thomas More.

Also, it is with a sad but joyful heart that we bid farewell to our resident Jesuit Novice Mr. Rob! His semester at our school is up and he has been such a blessing to the school, especially downstairs with preschool and extended day. Thank you Mr. Rob from the bottom of our hearts! Make sure you swing by and say hello from time-to-time and blessings on your next steps in your Jesuit training!

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam,

James Olsen
Advancement Director

Feature Headline

Your children will be bringing home a letter from the school today asking you to check off a 'to-do' on your list early. The letter is about our early timeline for re-enrollment.

In cooperation with our partners from the Healey Education Foundation, we are asking for re-enrollment information earlier in the year than normal to enable us to better prepare for the coming school year. Planning is already underway, and this includes understanding where our current families are in their intent to re-enroll. This aids in our budgeting process, helps determine future staffing needs, focuses our recruitment efforts, and helps us build our vision for new programming, technology, and resources for our students.

Please see the below forms for more details and to  find the gift that St. Nick left in your inbox rather than your shoe!

Tuition Fees are not yet set for next year, but the increase (if any) should be minimal (1-3%). Also, if you are filling out both PreK and K-8, the enrollment fee becomes that of K-8 family rate.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mr. Olsen at  [email protected]  or 651.224.4836, Ext. 302.

Thank you for your continued support to St. Thomas More Catholic School and your commitment to Catholic education. You are the backbone of our school and we appreciate your continued partnership and loyalty over the years.

Happy Advent!

Sincerely,

Mr. Olsen

'Tis the season to Fund-A-Need!

Each school year brings its own unique financial challenges and we want to be transparent about such needs as the arise. With your help, we can continue to give our children the experience they have come to expect in such a supportive and nurturing community.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and your generosity - t he Preschool needs your help!

Lockers for the Preschool (80 lockers ~ $8,000)
The Fire Marshall came and inspected the preschool in preparations for expansion and due to the combustibility of our current cubbies for our preschoolers, determined that we need new metal lockers for our little tykes. Your support in helping our preschoolers keep all of their gear (especially in winter) in one place will go a long way to making our preschool staff's holiday season and year and help ensure that each child is able to have spare gloves and hats readily available to them in the cold winter weather.

Interested in the Swim Team?

The STM swim team will begin practice January 3rd.  Please fill out a yellow registration form and return it to the office if your child is interested in being on the swim team.
