VWC Pauses to Remember Pearl Harbor
During this week of commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Virginia Wesleyan College pauses to remember the American military personnel who were lost and injured on that fateful day, as well as the many others whose lives were forever changed. The events of that week in December 1941, when the United States entered World War II, retain enormous significance for our country today as our legacy as a global power is further defined, and we confront new challenges to our national security. Three quarters of a century after the attack, the cry "Remember Pearl Harbor!" resonates anew for all Americans...lest we forget.
