Sunday Radio Matinee ~ 'College Choice: The Value of It All'
students with Robert Siegel
Students with Robert Siegel
The conventional wisdom that a college education is a good investment is being called into question more these days. NPR's Robert Siegel set out to learn how college students feel about their choices -- public university, private college or community college? How have they handled the financial burden? And do they feel they are well positioned for the future? Robert spent a year visiting with nine young people who shared their decision-making processes. This one-hour NPR News special is our Sunday Radio Matinee on Dec. 11 at noon.

The (Calendar Year) End Is Coming...
Karen's Legacy transmitter fund
For many of us, it's time to think about maximizing the tax benefits of giving to nonprofit organizations for the 2016 tax year. Giving to KGOU is a great way to support journalism and local music programs -- plus it's tax deductible.

If you've already contributed this year to daily operations, consider a one-time donation to our fund to replace the transmitter for the 105.7 FM signal serving Oklahoma County. In spite of the funding challenges we've had in 2016, thank you, listener-supporters, for making this a good year for KGOU!
