UN Women Launches "Making Every Woman and Girl Count"

Daisy Khan attended the launch of a new public-private partnership by UN Women to support its flagship programme, "Making Every Woman and Girl Count," which will invest resources in countries to generate and use gender data with a eye towards implementing policies that meet the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Daisy Khan joined national interfaith leaders at the White House to discuss the future of interfaith cooperation in the upcoming administration.
 
U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Program - "Women Leaders: Promoting Peace & Security"
 
Daisy Khan met with a group of nine women delegates to discuss how WISE works to empower Muslim women and to amplify their voices and role in peacebuilding. She shared her experiences working with faith leaders in New York and around the world, and in advocating in the national media on behalf of American Muslim communities.
